Meet Rachael Cooper
Founder of Rhinestone Ranch, Rachael Goodwater grew up in 4-H and rodeo and developed a strong love for beautiful horses and quality tack. She graduated with an A.S. Degree in Equine Science from Shasta College in 2005 and after many years working in the Veterinary field for both large and small animal practices, Rachael wanted a change of pace and decided to pursue a longtime passion of opening a horse tack consignment shop.
It all began in Historic Cottonwood, CA in 2013 when she opened a storefront down the street from Shasta Livestock auction and catered to the ranchers and rodeo people in that area. Rachael has since relocated to Washington and opened her new store in the Frontier Village Shopping Center in Yelm as of October 1st, 2017.
The business primarily consists of both Western and English saddles and tack, riding apparel, rodeo gear, jewelry, accessories and home d├ęcor on consignment. In addition to the tack shop side of Rhinestone Ranch, Rachael offers horse blanket repair and tack cleaning services and is a certified CHA Level Two Riding Instructor and Vaulting Coach. She specializes in beginner/intermediate youth riders as well as teaching basic horsemanship. Her long term goal is to eventually start a Vaulting Club in Pierce or Thurston County as well do summer camps.
